Our story
Forty million years, two hands
Şan Amber began in 1998 at a small bench, with a single file and a handful of raw amber. Three generations now work in the same workshop, and most of our tools are the ones we started with.
Every stone reaches us raw. We read its grain, choose the direction of the cut accordingly, then polish it for days using nothing but water and felt. We never dye, heat-treat for colour, or fill a stone.

Why natural stone
No two are alike
A pattern of its own
The flow inside each drop of amber carries the warmth of the day the resin ran. The pattern cannot be copied.
A record of time
Baltic amber is 34–48 million years old; the bubbles inside it hold the air of that age.
Natural weight
Real stone feels cool in the hand and heavier than you expect. Resin imitations never manage it.
A living surface
Natural stone deepens with the oils of the skin as you wear it, gaining a patina over the years.
